About Neon…
Neon Musical Insight is a blog that started in 2008 in the form of a Tumblr blog by myself, Chris Brancato, before expanding into it’s present form at the beginning of November, 2009. It’s main objective is to consolidate music news for the everyday music enthusiast, with up-to-the-minute breaking news, MP3’s, weekly album reviews, and interviews, all apart of the world of indie music.
The mission of Neon Musical Insight is not to simply regurgitate news, but to present it in an approachable manner for any reader — no matter their knowledge or understanding of a particular genre or performer — while remaining editorially professional. There’s nothing more gratifying then turning someone onto something that is truly worth listening to.
