As reported earlier, Minus the Bear have a new album coming out on May 4 via Dangerbird called Omni. Focused on the record sounding more “optimistic” than their work prior, Minus the Bear were more dedicated to finding an upbeat sound with the help from producer Joe Chiccarelli (the White Stripes and My Morning Jacket).

“My Time,” the first single released today as a free download from the band’s website exemplifies their new approach by creating an electronica mish-mosh of cheap technology with vocalist Jake Snider sounding like Fall Out Boy off their meds.
