If you were lucky enough to have tickets to Monsters of Folk’s Louisville performance at the Palace Theatre this past Saturday (Halloween), well then you were most likely completely caught by surprise when indie-folk supergroup Monsters of Folk took the stage donning full Kiss attire. Jim James appropriately took the mantle as Gene Simmons, as the more slender Conor Oberst assumed the role of Paul Stanley.
