Already announcing that their first LP in nearly four years will hopefully see the light of day come September, the Strokes made it clear that they didn’t have much planned for the year in terms of touring other than some summer music festivals. Well today, it’s been confirmed that one of those music festivals that the Strokes will be performing will indeed be this years Lollapalooza.

“We’re getting the biggest offers of our career,” Casablancas said, speaking with the Chicago Tribune. “It feels great, because I remember people writing things like ‘We’ll see if they’re still around in 10 years’ when we first came out.”
