Natalie Portman, No Age, Daft Punk & Others Auction Off Items For Haiti Relief

Beginning today, you can bid on items such as “Daft Punk 1000% Kubricks Robots made by Medicom Signed and Decorate by Daft Punk,” an “Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear signed Taylor guitar he learned to play on and used fr recording,” a “Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes signed & painted Fender Squire II Stratocaster electric guitar” and many, many more items on Bidding For Good.

The purpose of the auction is meant to “rebuild and maintain long term sustainability in Haiti” throught Artists For Peace and Justice reports Gorilla Vs. Bear.

There are plenty of other pretty creative items being auctioned off that range from signed Natalie Portman ballet slippers to a No Age shirt that will get you into any of their gigs for the rest of your life! Bidding for all of these items will conclude on Saturday, March 27.

Check Out Samples Of New Material From Bright Eyes & Neva Dinova

Back in 2004, Bright Eyes and fellow Nebraska Neva Dinova got together to record a split EP entitled: One Jug of Wine, Two Vessels. Remaining as one of the lesser known releases from Saddle Creek — but regarded as a favorite by fans. Well now, reports TwentyFourbitOne Jug of Wine, Two Vessels will be reissued on March 23 — pre-order here — with four new songs included into the mix. The album was originally an EP that consisted of six songs, but with these four additions, it can now be considered a proper full-length.

The four songs set to appear on the album are entitled: “Rollerskating,” “Happy Accident,” “Someone’s Love,” and “I Know You”.

Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes revealed late last year that he was at work on a new album with Bright Eyes, which will also be the bands final under the moniker — Oberst has clearly shifted in different musical directions over the years, so this comes as no huge surprise.

Below, you can listen to a sampling of the four new tracks.
